Front transfer case? You got two? Kept a franco from putting ATF in the diffs on his truck the other day. In french anything with gears in it qualifies as a transfer case. Poor dude, would've hated to see how long his diffs would last with ATF in them!
My Wal Mart doesn't have the Mopar ATF+4....
A Jeep dealership will automatically use the correct fluid, besides the 247/249 t-case they will only put ATF+4 in a t-case.Glad I found this thread. I'm more of a LOST member but I'm going to start using this site more. In a few weeks I'm going to have the Jeep dealership service my T-case and ******. I'll just let them use the fluids they use.
No it will not work.Any Chrysler dealership will have the correct ATF+4 and I now they are over there.Royal Purple Max atf? Can it be used? I know that its not on the list, but thats what the mechanic here in Germany recommended because ATF+4 can't be found in Germany...
They also say it covers DEXIII which in GM trans does not like friction modifiers that is needed for ATF+4.Plus they state do not use in place of Ford's type F ATF which has a heavy does of friction modifiers like ATF+4.I don't want to sound like im beating a dead horse but the RP website says that it covers ATF+4. All I hear is great things about it. I just don't understand.
