Auto dimming rear view mirror upgrade(4805572AD)

So i am trying to figure out what connector is used to to connect to the auto dim mirror. I found the pinout for it, but no documentation on what 5 pin connector to use. thanks

There are a bunch of retrofit sites for the mirror that connect it to the obd plug. However if you want it to work in conjunction with dimming side mirror then you need to connect it to the OEM plug which is located in the last pillar by the gate on the driver side. All the wiring for the roof computer, lights, mirror, sunroof all connect in the rear pillar.

Is there a diagram as to which plug it is? It would be nice to get everything plugged in neatly. I figured out that the connector for the mirror is a dupont style connector. so i can make my own, I would like to connect it to the wiring harness, along with my atic. Thanks

I unfortunately just sold my extra harness off. I would look on eBay or alike for a harness from a limited with or with sunroof, doesn't matter. This way you'll get everything factory. If you pull the plastic off the rear pillar on the driver side the plug is right there. If I remember correctly as it's been a little bit the lower plug is the sunroof connection, an the upper was the evic, mirror, done/vanity lights. I'll look around here to see if I can find anything an post again for you.

That first picture is a good shot of the 2 larger connectors that go in the pillar. It's hard to tell if it has the evic an mirror connection though.

That guys got a great deal on that. That Evic was specific to the '05, as others didn't work properly. I would get a blank temp on other units. Plus this one allowed me to do settings for door lock/unlock, tpms, and other functions that are usually done thru either obd or a bunch of flipping switches and turning keys method LOL. There are a couple dome light harnesses on ebay, just ask them if it has the connections you need, or if it came from the limited.

Hey crd joe? are you parting out an old Liberty? I was wondering if i could buy connection c308(service manual number) from you. I am looking to harvest some the pins from the connector to see if i could just wire in wires to my harness. I am striking out on finding an oem harness. I have all the diagrams and shouldn't be too hard.

Unfortunately I sold pretty much all of it off already. I have the door cards and a couple little parts. Amazing how fast they all sold. I'm looking to find another one to part out. I enjoyed the card, I drove 2 of them for close to 10 years. So if I come across another part out I'll let you know. I'm actively looking now.

IS it wrong that i want to get 2 more liberties and build them differntly.. They werent kidding when they said empty your pockets now

Nope they are fun little toys. Lol. I think I would go with the 06 though if I were to build any. Electronics changed. No more fcm junk. Copart is a great place to get em cheap to part or build. My last one was t-boned hard I got from copart. Only 60k on it! Must of been a great jeep before the accident. However it's parts helped many ppl. Shipped to my door was $1500 all in

Wow, I had no idea the Libertys came with auto dimming side mirrors... And I thought I knew everthing about them.

I'll have to see if my 04 has them. I feel like I would've noticed if they were dimming.

Don't be fooled by sellers saying they are auto dimming. The mirror will actually say it. I may have a picture yet of it

Yes only driver side. Was a rare option, as it took me a long while to find it myself.
