Bed lining the flares?

Thinking about spraying bed liner on the flares. I think the black on silver would look nice. Any thoughts? Anyone done this? What's the difficulty in removing the fender flares?

Seeing you have a Limited all you need to do is knock down the gloss finish on the flares
(sand them with some wet/dry sand paper and then apply the bed liner.
As far as removing the flares just drill out the plastic rivets and at the front where they attach to the bumper there are plastic "spring clips" that you can compress with needle
nose pliers once you gently pry the bumper skin apart from the flare.
Those "spring clips" can be re-used so be careful when squeezing them.
When all the plastic fasteners are drilled out/separated, just gently but firmly pull the
flares off the sheet metal.

IMO looks better than some of the cheap DIY bedlining kits

Being a limited it's super easy to bedline them,just need to clean,scuff with brown scotch brite pads,clean,then spray.

I'd have to disagree with Tom on that plastidip junk,it tends to shrink and crack after time.Flaks off real easy on the trail,much easier then other bedliners.I'd still skip the herculiner junk also.

What I used and can be DIY and holds up if prepped right and the instructions are followed.

What I was meaning was that PlastiDip looks way better than some of the cheaper bedliner kits that looks very rough like it was thrown on

I'll agree it looks better then hurculiner(and some others],that junk looks like a$$ no matter what.

I was thinking of doing the same to the flares and rockers like tjkj but I have a maroon liberty and am unsure of how it would look. The Silver and black would look nice I think.

I'm debating bedlining our sliders and lower part of the doors/body.
Colour match it to the factory gray of the Sport flares and bumpers.
I'm not sure how bedliner will hold up on the bottom of the sliders though?
Or would it be better to just paint the Super Skinks so touch up is easier?

I never used plasti dip, but ive used herculiner and some spray on duplicolor bed liner. I spend a good amount of time applying the herculiner to get it to have the same texture everywhere. It was rough but it looked cool. Got tons of compliments on it. Problem is after a year it wore through in spots. now I dont like it. getting everything line-x'd. went to the shop today...its really the only way to go. that stuff is way tougher and goes on way better than anything else ive seen. id say any of these do it yourself kits are going to look bad after a while..ive tried a few and they all break down after a while

Paint your rock rails
everytime I go out I scratch mine up some and have to retouch so bedlining them would not be the way to go
