Right? … and that was planned work! Even with a good snowsuit that looks painful. :D

Great idea reviving the contest Prof … sadly this is all I have left of her… *sniffles* ;)

Was sunny & warm most of the summer, with little to no rain.
Well that is about to change, as many continuous days of rainfall is expected now on the West Coast.
When winter arrives, I wonder if it may be a repeat of last winter !! :)

That’s just a light dusting ;)

I lived in Vancouver for 3 yrs in the early 90’s. We had one storm with maaaybe an inch of accumulation… coincidentally the city had just sold the bulk of its snow removal equipment to somewhere in Washington State. All hell broke loose. Car accidents everywhere, people slipping on sidewalks… I thought I was on another planet! My buddy, a born and bread west coaster, broke his leg biking to work. :D

Friction folks … friction

In January 2023, it was an unusual amount of snow that fell on the west Coast.
One storm overnight, we got a foot, and it kept snowing!
I was hoping for Global warming!...
It took a few hours to dig the Jeep out~!

Camping set-up on Libby

^ Love it! I would like a rooftop tent but my wife would never make it up there. (We have been talking about getting a small trailer.)
I have an old M100 that I am thinking of moving the RTT to, set it at the top rail of the trailer so it is a hop up instead of climb up. I like the compact size. Maybe seal the top of the trailer and load the kitchen and such in it with long drawers like the pickups have.

Military trailers of the M-101/116 size make great platforms for building small camping trailers. Click the link in my sig for my trailer build. It’s heavier than building a teardrop from scratch, but the military suspension is bulletproof.

^ I followed that build thread and drooled. It took me a while to make the connection that you were on here as well. (I am slow sometimes...) ;)

Just got back from Ouray Colorado. We did a lot of trails in the San Juan Mountains including one of the most difficult Poughkeepsie Gultch.

Cool. I’ve seen a bit of that up there. I do miss the Hot Springs.

Oh yeah. I’ve been going to that area since I was a little boy starting 40 years ago. It’s my peace on earth place when I need a break from the hustle and bustle of work and life. I’ve been all over the San Juan Mountains so many times but it never gets old no matter how many times I’ve gone over all the passes.

goofed around a bit with my Brother in his Land Rover and my Dad who was visiting from out of town. We found a fun spot where we took turns getting on 3 wheels (LR more than Bluebert) of course most of the good pictures and videos are not on my phone.

a couple of pics from the other week that were on my brother's phone. I'm pleased with the flexibility and limited slips.
