Belt just snapped..

Hi all

The belt of my Jeep cherokee kj just snapped, the ac pump clutch (is that what they call the pulley - rotating thingie?) was grinding for a while and I really didn't have a moment to have it fixed so the belt snapped.

Don't have it long in my posession either.....

I wonder, is there any cheap and quick way to bypass?
I saw there was but I can't find the belt in Europe, only American posts.

Looking at the original serpentine belt path (for an 04 KJ, 3.7 Base Model) I would guess that I could bypass the AC Compressor... Like this: EDIT: For future reference. This path will work. A 82.5" belt is required in most cases. All the pulleys would continue rotating in the same...

keep in mind that they are either removing the ac clutch or moving the compressor off the mount to allow for clearance.

i'd be removing the clutch if it were me.

i'd be removing the clutch if it were me.

dayco 5060825 is 6 rib 82.5 inch. Maybe your parts place can cross that number to another 82.5 inch belt. Not sure what that is In mm @Kimuri
