Got my plasti dip, went to home hardware and the rack was empty of black and white, asked the guy if I could order some and when he went in the back store to see when he will receive them he came with 3 bottle with cracked cork. Now let's wait to have some sun, which could be long -_-, and do the baby a facelift :)

They make Plasti Dip in multiple colors. My KJ isn't red but I recommend the stuff. It looks like its bubbling at first but as it dries that goes away. This is 30 minutes in to drying.

Looks great! Have any pics of it installed?

Wish I had the black fender flares and bumper. In my case both are red as I had the limited appearance package/option...but all the chrome bits are long since gone.

Have to mull this one over some more in my case. Maybe do some quick Photoshopping and see what it looks like.

It's holding up great the dirt seems to stick to it but a good wash and it looks just like it did when I sprayed it. I belive I got the bed armor (I'll have to chk that)
it is at pepboys in a rattle can 12 bucks. and is textured.

Your flares look a lot less textured than your grille there. Is that true? Or maybe just picture angle? I actually would rather LESS texture, so I might just use plasti dip.

How long have you had it on? What kind of prep did you use? How well has it held up? Too many questions? :happy175: I've just heard alot of bad things about it is all

Been on for about 3 mos. may be a little longer. I like the fact that if I scrape a rock I can just re-spray it its new agian :buffer::party36:. all i did was scuff up ther plastic with auto body brillo pads from my buddie's shop. he's a classic hot rod fabricator/ welder and lets me use the shop whenever.. I think it's holding up well and I get alot of compliments on how great it looks:anitoof:
I hear just the oppisite about the Plasti dip peels off rather easy i hear
not to many questions- nothing for me to do today at work

The bed armor is holding up pretty well. Just scuffed everything up first. The plastic dip is way more durable than the bed armor, however.

My bed armor is holding up well, only a month though...but if I scratch or mess it up I can easily touch it up. Much better than plasti-dip!

I'm planning in doing my grill with black plasti dip, actually I wanna do the bumpers and fenders to. I just haven't had the time. I did try out the plasti dip. Triep to do my logo on the hood and the gas cap cover. Logo looked bad so I peeled it off right away. The gas cover turned out pretty good. Ill take the grill out when I do it. Wanna do my rims to, just not sure if I wanna do it right and with the wheels off or lazy way and leave them on my jeep.

Ill post my pic of the gas cover tomorrow.

If you do the wheels, the dip just comes right off the tire. For the emblems you need to peel the unwanted stuff while its still a little wet
