I can't help by notice the side marker just stays there for no purpose at all while it could be blinking. I don't have that, I own 04, but why didn't any one of you wire the little bulb to the blinker and make it blink, get a bit better visibility when blinking?

:-k

Can and has been done...but much more easily. I will show you witch pins to cross later. It causes an alternating current in them and make them blink in alternation with the blinkers.

Cool. Look like 08 will have the same darn side marker, not sure if it will blink, but this could apply to 08 as well.
