I've noticed over the past week that in the morning when it's a little cold outside, my brake pedal makes a "clicking" noise when you push it down about half way. After you hit the brakes a few times it stops, but it's one of those little annoying things that aggravates the hell out of ya! I'm bascically just curious if anyone else has noticed this, or knows what it might be. I'd hate to take it to the dealer for a noise that they would surely never be able to reproduce.
Thanks!

I took my 06 liberty to the dealer and he told me it is common for liberty jeeps to do that. He said somehting about the "hand brake" engagement, when you pull it your foot brake needs a bit of leverage to "un-do" the pressure. I have no clue what that is but the noise is anoying and yes, especially when it its cold or the car has not ran for a day or so.
I can live with it, I just turn the radio up a bit more but I do not like it.
