Catalytic Converter Failure

I could use some advice. So my catalytic converters on my 2005 liberty failed awhile back and completely blew their honeycomb insides apart. Here's my issue: some of it is stuck inside of my muffler and it rattles terribly while accelerating. Any ideas on how to fix this or am I going to have to replace the muffler?

Remove the muffler/tailpipe, stand it on end, and shake the bits out.

Oh, in that case, leave the exhaust together and instead stand the Jeep on it's nose...then shake. :happy175:
