My girl friends honda still has the stock radio And any cd she uses skips really bad. I knkw they sell disks with a littl brush glued to it for cd and dvd players, will that work in a car stereo? Or is there a specific product for that application? I wana try to get the stock to work because the keyless entry runs through the stereo and i dont feel like relocating it to install an after market head unit. Thanks for the help fellas

Does the keyless entry run through the stereo for everyone? I've never heard that before.

No not every car does that. Ive only seen it done in hondas so far. Next time your in a honda look at the radio. Youll see a little light with alarm printed under it. Its not a huge set back just a pain in the ass to relocate the stock radio. But it doesnt matter any more, the car was sitting in 4 feet of salt water when hurricane sandy rolled through. Things arent looking good for it, all the harness' are corroded and i opened the ecu and almost every solder point is burned...
