Change 4wd system

Hey guys,

I just purchased a 2008 Jeep Liberty Sport from a family member. The Jeep is equipped with the Command Trac II 4wd system. Is it possible to swap 4wd system out to a Select-trac II system? If so, what would be involved, parts, cost, time etc? Thanks.

dont know if its been done or how easy it would be but my two cents?? you would be better off trading it in. at a minimal you would need the transfer case, computer, wiring, interior 4wd switch.... idk what else really.

Why would you need too? Command-Trac TC is the stronger of the two.

Abslutely, I would keep the commad trac and 4 wheel the hell out of it ( with routine maintenance of course)
