Does anyone know if this can work? maybe with a little modification?

Does that mean you tried? I read somewhere that someone removed the stock KJ door and put this one over it by drilling out the fake rivets and installing self taping allen head screws. I can't find the post. Some moron dinged my rear panel just above the gas door because in NJ you are not allowed to pump your own fuel and they station attendants don't give a damn. I'm looking for something to cover up the dings.

I'm sure I read that post too ... can't remember where. I would do the black version in a heartbeat ... not big on chrome though.
