Clevis lift help

what is a clevis lift??? new to the jeep world. are you just raising the bottom of the strut up from where it sits in the wishbone mount to the lower control arm??

Yes, exactly that.

I think it confuses people unfamiliar with lifting terminology, I know it took me a couple of times asking questions to the guys on here before it sunk in.

ok sweet i think im gonna take a look into that. How far can you safely lift using this method????

That would depend on how long the body of the front shock is where it fits into the cleavis fork. I have 3 conduit nuts in there now, and could add a 4th no problem.
