I have a white Liberty and wanted some feedback on colors/ wheels...

I want to buy new wheels because I have the stock aluminum ones and they're pretty gross. Should I buy Cragar black wheels and possibly put a black grille on the Libby? Or should I buy some silver '07 Wrangler wheels and buy adapters; w/o the black grille of course.

Let me know what you think.

When mine start to look narfed up I want to get them powdercoated in gunmetal grey. I think it'd look great with my Jeep Green, and am betting it'd look awesome on your white.

I think the white and gunmetal would look nice.

Honestly, I dont like the non-matching grille colors. Is this a Sport? with grey fenders? Silver65th Has black wheels and black grill on his silver limited. It looks good, Hes planning on painting his fenders black, so stay tuned to that thread for what that would look like.

I say order some wheels you really feel good about. If I had it to do over again, I would still pick these aluminum wheels. Looking for some decent 4x4 tires for them now.

I think a White libby would look good on some Crager soft 8's. I only advice against the wrangler wheels because people generally ask way more for their old used jeep wheels than you'll pay for some steal Cragers.

Yeah, I have the Sport with the grey fenders. I thought about eventually doing something with the fenders, not sure what though. I was not sure if the grey, black, and white would work together. The wheels I have now are chipping and I painted them before with high temp paint... I guess it was just a matter of time.

I found a guy selling 5 Wrangler wheels and Goodyear Wrangler tires 245/75's for $550. The problem is I would need a lift for those tires. I'm in communication with him about just buying the wheels.

The wheels are in good shape. I'll see if I can post a picture.

I love black wheels. They make anything look more aggressive. Not a big fan of the Cragars personally, but I vote black rims.

I like the Black Cragar's and I think they will look great on a white KJ. That is just my opinion.

I was on discount tires web site (http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/in...ps3W1!-1397812295!699037045?r=ILCINT|pc|60139) and they have a lot of cool black rims, especially the MB Drifters. But the thought crossed my mind, you are probably looking for something durable enough for offroading. At which point I'm sure going with a wheel that has been proven to hold up to the stress of offroading would be the best bet. Which you probably already knew that and that might be why you looked into the Cragars so I'll just shut up now.

Until you figure out which wheels you want and save the money to get them, paint the wheel you got...it is easy, looks good and when you get scratches you just repaint.
