Just wondering what you think of them??? They recommended all the KJ’s 02-07. But in recent reports then they said not to buy the 06/07’s (I’m guessing because of the window problems)

They don’t like the KK’s at all.

Sounds to me like the Chrysler got a little cheap on the later Liberty’s.
Thankfully my “06” was made before the window issues. It was made in 05.

Consumer Reports is a bunch of idiots.
They praised the Honda Passport for its reliability and build quality

While they dogged on the Isuzu Rodeo for its reliability and build quality
You must be registered for see images attach

Pro tip-the Rodeo and Passport are the exact same vehicle built by Isuzu
Same thing happened with many other cross-branded vehicles.

Don't give a rat's ass to them. Toyota and Honda just pays them more.

Hyundais STILL feel like complete (censored).

Sorry Clodslumer Retorts.

They just look good on the outside these days.

That is the ONLY difference. They haven't even mastered "buttons" yet. Stalks and gear shifters are sloppy, seat fabric is still cheaply made, like I said... it all looks good on the outside.

"Perceived Quality" is what it is. Same with Toyota.

...and perception becoms reality for some people.

...and CR is biased toward those that provide their cash flow.

Don't you guys remember a couple years ago when these people screwed up the car seat testing? Consumer Reports Apology

Quoted from MSNBC:

"WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - The crash dummies were tiny, as small as 22 pounds, and what they went through was brutal. Buckled into infant car seats, they were tossed, twisted and dislodged during simulated crashes.

The Consumer Reports tests seemed to show that many car seats wouldn’t protect babies from side-impact collisions at 38 mph. The magazine described most of the seats as miserable failures.

But on Thursday, two weeks after the initial report that left many parents worried about their babies’ safety, the findings were retracted. The trusted magazine said some of its test crashes were conducted at speeds higher than it had originally claimed."

You can read the whole story here: MSNBC

Yeah - I trust these guys alright... /sarcasm

yet in every catogory the VW did better

The rouge shifts smother ,really you think

My wife's company distributes them so I get it for free all the time. Every time i sit and and look at it, I end up pissed. They have spelling errors all over and I'm supposed to take their word for what they say? Garbage magazine. The think ESC is the be all end all to handleing problems. They classify the GMC terrain as a small SUV and a mid SUV both in the same issue. I can go on and on.

The used to rate the Rav4 better offroad then the '03-'06 TJ Rubicons just because the Rav4 was made by toyota which automatically makes it better then anything else.

I got one just as good lol. In the most recent copy of there sh*t report. They Listed the Hyundai Genesis Coupe as a Muscle car SHOCKED.gif

I have said for years that there is no way they can buy one of everything they test. They claim that they purchase everything form peanut butter to a Dodge Viper to conduct nonbiased test. PLEASE! There is no way they could do that and stay in business.

So, here's a question
How do we prove them wrong and start a class action lawsuit for potentially poor purchases that cost us money we've made because of themKick.gif

Follow the money.

Get a good auditor/accountant to infiltrate the place and scrutinize the money trail which will lead to the ratings.

Where's Atrus?..........:D
