Just thought I’d share a cheap option I used to keep my wife’s rusty Liberty looking good for a little while longer. With 230,000 miles we’re just trying keep it alive until the end (of the Jeep). And want it to look respectable.
I had some snowmobile trailer glides stashed in the garage and realized they had a look similar to the old Cherokee door panels. So I sprayed the rust with reformer, cut and filed the glides to fit the doors, and riveted them on. Did both sides. Most people assume it’s meant to look this way.
