I can't seem to find this answer by searching Google or the forums.

Are the Cragar 398's (AKA Soft 8's) compatible with the 2005 Tire Pressure Monitoring System? If they are, will the tire shop use the same sensors that are on there now, or will they need to put new ones on?

Also, I believe this is in the wheel info thread, but while I am here... Are the stock lug nuts conical seat? Will the stock lug nuts work for the soft 8's?

I'm trying to get all of this stuff sorted out and calculated before I order them. I am making sure I have thought of everything before I order and that everything is going to fit correctly.

I believe I will be going with this set-up (other than the wheel style) for my '05 Limited... http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30333&highlight=backspacing

I will probably have other questions to post in this thread before I get them.lol

Thanks fellas.:)

Is there an aftermarket stem or something? I hate these stupid TPM systems. Like I can't see if my tire is low or not by, heavin forbid, looking at them.

If these wheels wont work, where is a good place to shop for wheels. Tire rack *****. All they have are 19's and 20's listed for the Jeep. Not to mention they are ugly.

Are there similar wheels that will work with the TPMS?

This guy claims that he has TPMS with cragars without any problems. He also claims he doesnt have the sensors in the rims but that doesnt make any sense.

The liberty never used hubs to check for different wheel speeds. If it did then it would need to have ABS and all 05's didnt have ABS so that rules that out. I think the tire guys lied to him or some one else moved the sensors over the the cragars or something. idk..
