Besides installing a hitch and harnes, is there any thing the CRD lacks? I noticed that it has what appears to be the hd cooling system, but does it have the oil, steering, and trans coolers standard w/o getting the tow package?

I asked the salesman when we picked it up and he said "ya these things are ready to tow anything" or some such yes man response. After that I figured I'd just ask someone who knows what thier talking about, you guys.

Thanks,
Doug

He was correct, aside from the hitch and the harness its ready. I only wish I had the crd, but my 3.7, all I did was add the hitch and the harness and I have had 4200 lbs on the back of it, with no issues what so ever. Get the hitch and have some fun.

Cool! Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Looks like I need to start saving for the hitch and install of the harness. I can turn a wrench, but that 'lectrical stuff throws me.

I did the hitch and wiring myself. It is actually really easy. Takes a little more time to place the brake controller and hook up all that, but if your staying under 3000 lbs. and don't need the brake controller, then hooking up the 4 pin wire harness cannot be simpler. The worst part of the job was pulling the interior panel loose to hook up the wires to the factor harness, after that it was all down hill.
