Was thinking of this possibility. The three cats alone aftermarket are at least $1100 in canada.

Would it be possible to use 2.25" stainless pipe, one universal cat, and muffler and still pass emissions? My friend had his muffler ripped off after where the flange was, and tailpipe is, and I welded it back together. It was after hitting being ripped off from something off the road. Most of it still has solid steel, but I was thinking of custom made as a possibility in the future

You have (4) O2 sensors. Two upstream, to downstream, All must send proper readings to computer or you have CEL on, plus computer will mis-send signals to timing and fuel delivery components.

I suppose one could put upstream both in pre-cat location and downstream in post-cat locations on the same pipe, but with 30+ years in the custom exhaust business I fail to see any advantage from a Rube Goldberg (at best) configuration.

Stick with at least the two fronts ,
would never do what you are thinking,
best to do it right or end up with a P.P. running KJ

Do you know of any place in the US that sells complete exhaust systems at a good price?
