Hey, in the last few days my 3,7 kj after a cold start works strange, but in 10-20s starts working fine... Today i have got the P0303 CODE which means cyl#3 missfire...
Has anyone any idea what could be wrong?

Could need plugs. To check the coil, move the #3 to another cyl.and see if miss follows.

Thanks ridenby!
Which cylinder is #3?

Ok I found out which is #3 and i have changed the coil with cyl #1 now i am waiting to see if the same code appears or not...

During this I found out that some kind of sensor is broken. Look at the pics...
What is this sensor?

Hi trazman

Looks like the TPS to me (Throttle Position Sensor).

Yes, You need a new one, stay with OEM. That won't come cheap, especially in Europe.
I suppose it might cost about 100 Euro, but don't know really...

Also, while You are at it, why not spray some contact cleaner on coil connectors ??!!

Best of luck!

So after 4 days there is no error codes, but when i start my kj i can still hear that for a few seconds there is something wrong... I have noticed another thing... Some coolant is missing (0,8l) and under the car there are no signs of it... It is also important to know that 2000km ago i have rebuilt the engine so hopefully there was some air stucked in the cooling system...
If not then the coolant is leaking threw the cylinder, but there is no sign of it in the engine oil... I should see it on a spark plug?

Don't know why but 'engine rebuild' always makes me shiver... at least here..

But, before getting mad, maybe it's just time for a new radiator. Those hardly make it past the 6 to 7 years mark.
Swapped mine at the end of last year.

Inspect carefully just below the upper hose, they seem purposedly made to start cracking right there..

Stay OEM and check hoses too. Also, fix the TPS, they didn't put it in there just for fun..

Keep us posted.

Do a leakdown test. ThunderbirdJunkie bets you have a warped or cracked head, which is why you had to replace the radiator in the first place...

Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind because the Matrix is real, Neo.
