I found a HP dana 44 housing out of a 79 bronco. Would this work for future project ?

The RAM D44 is low pinion and has a 2 peice pass side tube with a 2 peice pass side axle with vacuum disconnect, and worse it uses unit bearings. The 9.25 rear is,well no real aftermarket support.what about a dodge ram front d44 and crysler 9.25 combo for 300$
It'll work but if your planning a SFA swap 4.10's is far from low enough, more like 4.88's or 5.13's are needed.found a 74 f100 d44 in an alabama junkyard today it already is out fitted with 4.10s
