Dash Speakers?

I have the RB1 (I think?) headunit. Anyway, I have an '07, it's just the standard single disc in dash unit. No changer or anything.

I know we have provisions for tweeters on the dash. Do I have speakers in there? I'm curious because if I do not, I think I may throw in a speaker there to have an external speaker for my CB. If I do have them in there, I'll get a CB external speaker and mount it under the seat or something.

if you have the premium sound ( speakers are infinity) then yes.... if not, i dontknow.

No premium sound that I know of...just the stock deal.

I have a Stock single disc player in my '06. I got the tweaters and I know that I don't have the Premium sound system.

In the daylight, look directly down on the tweater area from outside the Jeep through the windshield and you should see them no problem.

You mean they actually put the speakers there and not hook them up? I am sorry, it is not clear what you are asking. If DC was dumb enough to do that, shame on them.

They are there, and they are hooked up.....turn the treble all the way up, then put your head as close to them as you can and you'll hear em....unless something is wrong with yours?

There's obviously a spot for them, but what I was asking was if they are actually there in the base sound package. Reason I ask is because I had the provision for them in my '91 Daytona, however, I didn't have premium sound so there were no speakers under the dash grills.

Yeah, mine has the same "regular" setup as yours...single CD, non-Infinity, etc. and it has them so I'm pretty sure yours does too.

Thanks Heath, I am sure mine does too then. I thought it did as I remembered it being advertised as a "6 speaker system", but I also know sometimes they'll do a tweeter/woofer combo and call that 2 speakers.

Atrus, try and wire the your radio speakers to your CB. Much like when you have an incomming phone call on your cell phone (When you have a hands free set-up) and the music stops playing and the vehicles audio system broadcasts the telephone conversation.
