There are 4 codes for transmission errors on my 06 Jeep KJ
PO700 - Transmission Control System Malfunction
PO732 - Gear 2 Ratio Incorrect
PO734 - Gear 4 Ratio Incorrect
PO736 - Reverse Ratio Incorrect
The Jeep will not move for a few seconds after stepping on the gas, then will start to kick into gear and go, then struggle to kick into the next gear, and it gets stuck in, what i believe to be 3rd gear at 40mph or so, and running at 3500-4000rpms. The Reverse also has the same sort of problems.
I have a buddy who believes it's the transmission control system that's causing all the other problems and codes. I am not too sure about his diagnosis, so I am wondering if any of yall have a possible diagnosis of the underlying issue of my transmission failure from the information given above.

How many miles on this KJ transmission ? Does the ATF + 4 transmission fluid smell burnt ?
Is the fluid level on dipstick correct? Have you tried adding an extra half quart of ATF +4 fluid ?

It sounds as though you have a valve body issue I would rebuild it or replace it The transmission or the computer itself should put it in the limp mode and it should only take off in a second and stay in second trying to protect the transmission. But they're notorious for bad valve bodies.

Have you had any issues with the torque converter staying locked in and it not coming out of gear
