Personally I like the badges. There's been a few people on here who have debadged... two names come off the top of my head... "tommudd" and "timmer"... I think.

they are just stuck on... take a small flat bladed screw driver and just pull them away from the body..... be careful not to scratch the paint though.....

i find that the paint on these is really tough anyway.....

Ooh.... no......

Heat them up somehow, hair dryer maybe, and peel them off. No paint damage at all. Use Goo Gone to get rid of the adhesive.

Yep, I'm one.

Mine were crumbling and lost their silver covering, so one hair dryer (which I had to borrow) and a plastic "Burger King" knife later...

It looks "empty" to me, if you like it, it's good. It just looks "empty"..
I am planning to remove only the Jeep badge, since it started looking bad, and replace it with something else, or keep it without badge for a while, but for now it is staying like that.

Only thing I removed was that ridiculous dealer decal, stuck over there.. that thing was disgusting!

I've noticed that the southern Jeeps don't USUALLY have the badge problems... maybe it's the road salt?

Could be, mine are just fine after four years.

on here
The only thing I took off was the dealer badge and licence plate frames with their name on it. The badgeing is in good condition. If it gets crummy, I'll take it off, but so far the salt has not done anything to it.

I've had a habit of debadging cars in the past, and either leaving them without badges, or getting custom sets made like I did with this one...

I don't think I'll do it with the Jeep though...if they start to peel maybe, but otherwise I'll leave it alone.

I have had mine debadged since mine was a year old. Like the naked look and will never go back altough I do have my new emblems on each front door "KILIMANJARO EDITION" which changes it some
