Deeke's upper control arms?

Looks like they couldn't even bother to tighten hardware before taking pictures, I'd be concerned about what other shortcuts were taken...then again they could be fine? Who knows?

I know JBA upper control arms are more expensive but they are the real deal. I had a 12 year old one crack and JBA overnighted me a brand new set, with bushings, ball joints, and all. Couldn’t be happier. Their build quality, prompt customer service, and lifetime warranty more than justify the extra dollars spent at the front end, IMO. Plus for me they are a local southeast PA business that I want to support. Made in USA!

Those look like JBA’s upper arms, but the price is half of what I paid. I guess you can try them and hope they are the same quality. Nowadays everything seems to come out of China. Go to JBAs page and look at the specifications and compare. Good Luck

Specifically check the thickness of the tube used.

My father-in-law is an inspection guru. He does thickness readings and weld tests in the oil and gas industry. Hmm I wonder if he could test these out...I guess I could use some Deeke's UCAs for my lift.

To @lfhoward 's point, you aren't going to be getting a warranty or customer service. And I doubt everything is up to the same specs.

Obviously, looks can easily be deceiving as they are only skin deep, but mechanical functionality is MUCH more then skin deep.

In the case of suspension parts, overall quality and longevity are strictly a matter of metallurgy, weld quality, hardware quality and, just as importantly, the quality of the rubber compound used.

It also seems important to note the sheer amount of time and effort it takes to replace the UCA and other front suspension parts on these little trucks.
If the JBA UCAs that these Deekes are likely copied after (dare I say counterfeited??), cost twice as much, but also last for twice as long, then IMO the JBA are DEFINITELY still worth the difference in price.

Price for Derek to JBA is $375 differents but is cheaper better

Several folks on here poo-poo'ed the RRO's arms too. They have been on our KJ for over 10 years now with no issues.

This Deeke's arm has greasable bushings which I like.

I really tire of this 'best' fanclub affliction that casts hollow fear and doubt on competing products. Choice is part of our supposed freedom. Do the homework - make your own decisions, and move on.

I found a video on Youtube of a guy doing a budget build on a 2003 Jeep liberty. If you forward to 9:10, he puts Deeke upper control arms on the jeep and mentions in the video that they have been perfect so far. Anyone else try them?

I have recently installed (4 months ago) the Deeke UCA on my 2004 liberty sport while doing an entirely new suspension and have driven the pretty hard to test them here in the TN mountains and on the highways. I have to say the performance is awesome and as far as the hardware being loose in the pic…. The are also shipped the way because it is a small adjustment point when installing. I actually copied the whole suspension build from the video ( Building the ultimate 6K Jeep) with the exception I added 2.5” leveling spacers on top of the new struts after putting them together. This made the bottom of the liberty level now. I do have two sets of tires that I swap because a lot of the driving I do is on the highway. I will post a pic of the Jeep with the stock tires and wheels. But anyway my point being I did some research and bought them and looked them over and don’t see any major differences except the price so now you have my experience with them. Happy Trails

Thanks for the update. I also bought a pair, but have not installed them yet. The quality looks good, I don't see any issues with them either. It's good to know they are working good for you. Did you need to install the metal washers between the frame and the poly bushings? Any closeup pictures of the fitment would be great. Thank you. Steve
