Well i recently oredered tires from discount tire direct,(ordered them 1/28/10), and still havent seen them, every time i call they say they will be their tomorrow or oh they will be their in a day or so, ups tracking number say ups doesnt even have the package yet, if my tires arent here tomorrow i am asking for a refund so i can go elsewhere. I liked the idea of the free shipping but getting the run around and feeling stupid after spending almost $1k on the tires and still dont have them. If you want tires go elsewhere, dont just buy somewhere because of the free shipping.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Why on earth would you buy tires through the internet? It's nothing but a hassle and getting any warranty honored is a nightmare.Buy local,so much easier and most places will price match anyway.

If going online use Tirerack.com i got mine a just a few days, and never really heard anything bad about them, i even got a call from a person because i ordered a size different then they had listed for a 06 liberty and they wanted to make sure i didn't order the wrong size, great customer service for me! But the only reason i used them is because it was about $30 cheaper per tire then any place i could even find the tires at.

thats why i ordered online cuz when i went anywhere to buy tires they would say well you cant put that tire on that vehicle and i didnt feel like begging them to take my 1000 dollars cash, plus mounting an alignment prolly about 1200 all together, thats why i ordered on line.

That's why you don't say what vehicle they are going on or bring the vehicle in,just the rims.I got my 35" tires for cheaper then any internet place at a local discount tire, and that was before the military discount also.At least I also have plenty of places to go for my road hazard/offroad hazard warranty and lifetime balance and rotate with zero hassles.Odd since I work at Firestone, they look at me funny when I show up in my Firestone uniform.

well the place i am taking it on saturday to geti it aligned and tires mounted (if they get here) says since they are a cooper tire they can warranty it for me as long as i pay for the mount and balance, also they said i have 6 months or so to have the alignment checked regularly. and if its off they will correct it for free, and they said most of the time if i think its off even after the sixth month they will fix it and look at it for nothing.... local shop been around for a few years though, family owned, so they are gonna take care of me. i didnt find this place until after i ordered the tires. which kind of ***** cuz i would have given them my money.

Funny, I pull right in with my KJ and get tires put on,
no one ever says they are too big or anything!
I price shopped all over town and Tireman bet everyone,
the only catch to a great deal , I have to go in every so often so they can show them off !
But for 4- 265-75-16 Duratracs for 702.00 all taxes mounted balanced etc I'll stop by and help them sell more;)

This is why I have 2 sets of tires. That way, when I want to run a strange size, they can't tell me no.......

Wow I feel 180* different
the price I got from Discount Tire could not be touched
heck the local places were saying
"I can not sell the MTR for that price but I can sell you brand X for
$10 or so less"
I will only buy tires from them

I had a rant about discount tire from about 3 years ago. Rip-off artists. I published a copy of their apology on LOST ( I think ). Oh, this was in person. They dropped their price $300 when confronted with a local price. This was in-store & not the net. I told them they were crooks who tried to steal $300 from me in their first place when they were shocked that I would not do business with them although they beat the local guy by $10. Punks.

Man you guys must just be doing something wrong
or maybe the local places by me simply jack the hell out of tire prices
32 X 11.5 MTR
Discount tire = $170 Each + M&B with a $20 per tire mail in making them $150
best local price $195 + M&B no mail in

Best part of all they dropped the $170 to $160 because I wanted BFG's but they were on a 60+ day back order making them even cheeper to buy MTR's then what 3 local places
wanted for Master Craft MT's or Remington Mud Brutes

oh and G/Y has the warranty not the place you buy them
I know
we got an MTR warranted on the KJ based on tread wear
1/2 tread left = 1/2 the retail off of a new tire
