Sorry for the $hit storm that had nothing to do with your question about oil filters. Did you get your answer?

No I did not get an answer and I really did not expect one. I picked up the oil at Wally World, $21 for 5 qts Mobil 1 full syn, and the only filters they carry are FRAM ($3.50). So I said what the hey and went for it. I will sleep fine tonight knowing I have a sub standard filter on my Jeep.
Ahh, its all good.

:happy175:Ask any oil filter. Any REAL oil filter.
It doesn't matter if you filter by an inch or a micron. Filtering is filtering.
I just use the filter from the vacuum. Oil gets alittle dusty, but it is a hepa filter so you know its good
