I never even remove the sway bar when doing a lift if the customer wants it left on. Lots of extra work for nothing.
The guy sitting there with that little chain wrapped around the spring and compressor is scary. I've seen springs fly out of a commercial spring compressor and put a hole in a concrete block wall 15 foot away before.

Im not talking about removing it. Just back out the bolts to give some extra play in the rear axle. Seems like less work and a hell of a lot safer then using a spring comp lol easy way to lose some fingers

never use a spring compressor either on the rear
people make lifting a KJ way too hard :shrug:

Well we had a sh*t ton of compressors...so it was actually just easier to pop it on with the air tool quick and set it in there. And yea that guy is kinda weird, haha. He's from the coal region here in PA...can't understand anything he says.
