Door ajar

The door ajar light will not go off on the dash. I believe it is one of the passenger doors and not the driver door or the swing gate. I have to turn the lights down or they always stay on.

Ok here is the deal, my son owns a 05 Liberty Sport, and one day he got in to drive home from school and the Odometer display keeps going from the mileage to Door... His can't tell you which door, so it just says Door and thats it. I did all the usual, WD-40 in the latches, worked the doors...

'05 KJ Driving Me NUTS...

Ok here is the full story... '05 KJ Sport, pretty base model, started saying Door on the Odometer. We went through all the door ajar switch wiring. Unplugged the connectors from the BCM and put a meter from the door ajar sense wires for each of the four doors to ground, door open continuity...

Has anyone solved it?
Isn't it possible that on/off is reversed?

I did indeed read that story. However that guy knows way more than I could even think of when it comes to the electrical. I have tried multiple solutions that I have looked up. I am planning to check the wiring that comes from the door to the body for any breaks and if that doesn’t work I will look at rewiring the inside lights to a more simple solution.
