Door window not winding all the way down, stopping a 1/4" above the door?

The front passenger window on my new-to-me 2003 Liberty ("Limited", power windows) doesn't roll all the way down, it stops about 1/4" above the the door metal.

But I took off the door panel and looked in there, farted around with it for a while, and the glass looks like its sitting on the rest at the bottom of the door. Like, there's no where else it could go if it wanted to.

Is this a fit/ finish issue from the factory? Or did something shift or bend in some way that now the window can't roll all the way down?

The other windows all roll all the way down.

Not normal. There must be something out of place.... Maybe open the driver door up for a look at how it should be inside

Does it roll back up on its own?

Do you have any photos of the stops?

sounds like the regulator is about to break. Mine did the same for awhile then eventually fell in the door and wouldnt raise up. Had to replace the regulator then back to working
