I just put 4 Summer tires on my wife's Liberty.-225-75R16. I noticed that the sidewall says 80 max psi. (Her winter tires stated 44 and I ran 35 with no problem). With E load tires do I have to increase the pressure or do I stay with what the sticker on the door says..
Thanks for any advice...

Stay close to the sticker should be fine about 35 or so
80 PSI is for max load and thats a whole more than the KJ weighs or can haul

I have a question about E load tires. Seems like a lot of the private label brands I can find only make an E load tire in the size I want (245/75R16). I was staying away, from the perspective that the tires weigh a ton...plus with the extra load rating, I figured the KJ would ride like crap. Any input on that perspective? Should I stay with the P rating, or would a load C be better? I don't do any serious off-roading, but do find myself in a field now and then, or a rocky driveway (think driveway intended for HD farm equipment). I've never had a problem with the tires on it now (P-rated). I was just avoiding the heavier rated tires because, well, they're heavier. :)

I have e tires. The are stiff. Very stiff. I wouldn't reccomend them for comfort. I vary the psi for mine. Ran 28-45 and don't seem to have any difference in wear

Thanks. That's pretty much what I figured.

I've always run mine at 40psi. I'm on my 2nd set of the E-wall tires, and that seems to be a decent pressure that doesn't hurt fuel 'economy.'
