Kinda curious, would anyone be interested in a circuit that reads the coolant temp and battery temp as input parameters to turn on the e-radiator fan?

The turn on temperature conditions would be adjustable.
or would other control parameters be desirable?

i am putting this out there as i think my PCM is a bust and doesn't control my fan relay at all as it should.
If there is enough interest, I would design a circuit otherwise I would wire up a manual switch.

I wish I could somehow design the fans to come on way earlier than the PCM selects.
I am an electrical dummy, since I cant create one..I will order one from you~!!
Since the thermostat opens at 195 it would be nice to have the water temps maintained from 195-200F. Also would be nice to have a timer, so that the fan would continue to run for 2 minutes after the Jeep is turned off, or selectable for longer, on hot summer days.

okay. I'll keep that turbo timer functionality in mind.
I'll be doing this on my free time if any. :D

Would you be wiling to splice into your coolant temp sensor wire though?

Just need to read the voltage off the coolant temp sensor.

Any other thoughts about this would be great.

I already have the ability to turn on and off the cooling fan and change it to any speed, and also let the jeep control the fans. Also have no CEL.

Flex-A-Lite in California already makes a kit that controls electrical fans using a 1/4" NPT temperature sending unit. To the best of my knowledge it is a universal kit that can be used with all of the fans they sell, as well as custom set-ups.

For the Liberty CRD, I have designed a replacement engine thermostat assembly that has a removable cap to inexpensively replace the Hemi V-8 thermostat valve inside. The main housing also has 2 extra threaded ports, (1/8" NPT and 1/4" NPT), machined in place for installation of aftermarket engine temperature gauges and conversions to electric cooling fans. This assembly is delivered to the customer with stainless steel plugs installed in these ports. Simply drain the coolant out of the engine and remove the appropriate plug for the TSU you want to use.

For photos of the Hot Diesel Solutions Model 001 engine thermostat assembly, see the following thread...
