I recently purchased a 05 Liberty Limited with 20K mileage and am in the process of installing a K&N cold air intake and changing all fluids to synthetic. After reading some posts on spark plugs, I plan on changing them as well. I've seen ads for the E3 spark plugs, does anyone have any input or maybe recommend a good plug to install. Trying to do all I can to improve HP and fuel economy. Thanks!

Congrats on your new jeep.

As to your HP and FE question, these two terms don't go in the same Jeep sentence.
If you want more Jeep HP, you need to get a Hemi Jeep. If you want a Jeep for fuel economy you need a Patriot/Compass.........no one has figured out how to make a gas sipping animal out of the 3.7L yet........just enjoy your Jeep.

I agree with tjkj about the plugs with an exception. The stock NGK plugs are good, but I think they will not last as long (or hold their gap as long) as the platinums he mentioned. But the plugs are easy to change so no big deal whichever ones you run.

tjkj will chime in now and tell me that the NGK's are no good.......haha

Just because you pay more does NOT always mean it's better. The Bosch Plus 4's I have did not help with mileage. In fact I have noticed a recent drop in mailage and I suspect possible fouling. However, it could be due to the snow that we have been having. If you really want a high end plug I believe that tjkj knows of a good Iriduim plug ,I think Denso but I am not sure, that MIGHT beat the 2 platinum plugs he mentioned.
