Hello. Fist post here, great forums.

I am interested in getting a navigation system for my 04 Jeep Liberty. The RB1 looks very nice but I want to consider other options. I have been looking at the Eclipse AVN5435 and the newer Eclipse AVN5500. Although they cost more than the RB1 they offer more features. Will these fit into an 04 Jeep Liberty? Anybody have one of these Eclipse systems? Thanks for any info.

hi, and welcome...

i think it's too big. more double din size.
also, just looked it up in cructhfield, and this is what it said

Crutchfield.com said:
Note: Your dash must have a 4" opening for the AVN5435 to fit; the 3" openings found in some vehicles, especially GM and Chrysler, will not accommodate it. Please enter your vehicle information or call a Sales Advisor at 1-888-955-6000 to find out if this model is compatible with your vehicle.

maybe on newer gen DCx vehicles......(Wk, Charger...etc...)

Is there anything similar to this (besides RB1) that would fit into an 04 Liberty? I am not too familiar with the whole stereo/navigational world.
