Use a cutting torch. Oh no wait bad idea. Use a siphon pump and drain into the tank of a gasser (if gas to diesel ratio is low) or several gas cans. About how much gas did you put in and how much diesel was in there?

Putting GAS in CRD is not as bad as putting Diesel in Gas engine.. They've been doing this mistake on all diesel rentals in Europe.

Ive never been able to siphon gas out of my gasser kj so I would say your crd would be the same.

Just drop the tank and drain it. Change out the filters and be done with it.

I don't know if it's the same over there, here Gas is a green hose , Diesel is black in this filling station diesel is on the left side of the pump . The Gas hose was black as plastic cover was missing and this is the only pump where the Gas hose is on the right(all the others are the other way round).Still should have been more observant!

It depends on the station over here, the vinyl cover could be black, red, green, yellow, but it has still never happened to me. The diesel hose and nozzle in general is much heavier, and has a wider opening. Gas is lighter and has a skinnier nozzle. Oh and it's on the "cleaner" looking side of the pump. :p

Diesel

Usually diesel will have a green cover on the nozzle, except at BP's (British Petroleum) where everything has a green cover.

My KJ is a gasser, but my work truck is a 2008 F-250 Super Duty. I usually try to fill up at a truckstop, on the truckers side, the pumps pump faster. You tank has to be able to accept the larger nozzels, or you have to have an adapter.

It annoys the hell out of me when I go to a regular service station (not a truckstop) and the only diesel pump is being blocked by a gasser that could have easily chosen another pump.

Sorry to get off topic. Let us know what all had to be done to get your Jeep running again, and how much it cost. I'm curious.

You ever stopped at a diesel pump in eastern kentucky? They are usually covered in mud, spit, old tobacco, oil, etc. :D

Following poop in the river, I think I would declare KY as the yuckiest state ever!

Here in NY diesel has its own island and pump, completely seperate from gas. Only some newer stations put them together, but still not right next to each other. You have regular -space- mid -space- premium -space-space-space-space-space-space- diesel with completely different color.. If you miss that $4.50/gallon should wake you up.

haha, you cant get over those straight pipes can you? I hope you know that people do that in every state. ;)

I wouldnt trade Kentucky for anything. The amount of state parks, places to go, things to do, ability to get away with most of anything, mountains(eastern), its nice. :D

Getting a bit off the original topic, I used to live behind a cranberry bog. You don't want to know where the pipe went and what it fertilized. I don't drink anything from Ocean Spray.
