Hi everybody :)

In my previous car I realized it didn't have a First Aid Kit (I bought the car brand new). Since in my country it's mandatory (by law) to carry a First Aid Kit I bought one in a supermarket. It was a little white box and it came inside a sealed plastic bag. I wasn't able to see what their contents were, but at that moment I really didn't care... The only thing I wanted was to pass highway police controls and don't get a ticket :p

Well, the thing is that I sold the car and bought my super-cool-awsome-groovy-Jeep  and someday I got curious and opened the darn bag to see what the contens of the First Kit Aid box were... And SURPRISE! The contents were:

- 1 cotton stick
- 1 cotton ball (size of a bottle soda cap)
- 1 adhesive bandage

 That's all... Really helpful in an emergency case!... You always can stop a femoral artery bleeding with those things!

So I decided to make my own First Aid Kit accordingly with the use I plan to do for the Jeep idea.gif. This is the list of my current First Aid Kit:

- 6 adhesive bandages
- 1 elastic bandage roll
- 1 non-elastic bandage roll
- 2 10cm x 10cm sterilized gauzes
- 1 surgical apposite
- 4 antiseptic pads
- 6 water purifier tablets
- 10 anti diarrhea pills
- 5 antihistamine pills
- 1 burn relief ointment
- 3 hydrating salts
- 5 Antiflammatory pills
- 1 2.5cm x 3 meters adhesive tape
- scissors
- tweezers
- 100 ml. sunblock F45

What are the contents of yours? (maybe later we could start a poll)

See ya !:D

I'd never heard of countries mandating first-aid kits in vehicles, but it doesn't sound like a bad idea. Carrying a small fire-extinguisher would be worth thinking about, too.

The contents which you've come up with for your kit looks good. You might want to throw in a pint of Scotch!

In my country carry a fire extinguisher is also mandatory by law. You must recharge it once a year.
