Just got a 2008 Liberty 4x4 Sport, and I've fallen in love. I'm located in SE Texas just south of Houston and I came across a deal on my libby. Being from South Texas I have been raised on pick ups my entire life and this is MY first jeep, I say "MY" because my wife has a 2009 libby I got her last year for her birthday. Hers is 2WD and I hadn't really ever driven it. So when my pick up was put in the shop I had to drive her vehicle to and from work and working construction and being in and out of the wilderness I liked how her 2WD did and I began researching the 4x4s and I read alot of good things. Then I saw mine on sale and after the test drive my mind was made up. It was like a love story hahaha, anyways I have had my vehicle for about 4 days so we are still in the honeymoon stage but i have a lot of hopes and dreams for her. I'm a avid wade fisherman and I can't wait to see how she handles off road. As for now I will continue to hope for rain so I can see how she gets in and out of the jobsite haha. I was also draw to her as a family car as we have a 2 year old. I am very eager to learn and after researching it up I found this to site to be my best resource. I hope to meet and greet with any of you in my area. Thanks and I'll be around.

Hahaha I'm considering it. Especially since I live about 30 minutes from the coast and when Hurricane Ike blew in, it screw up my neighborhood and we had flooding issues for about a week ahahaha. Thanks for the feedback.

That is my rig right now. Pretty stock (except step rails) considering i've had her 5 days. I hope to replace the tires soon as I have not seen anything good about them and I want a more aggressive tread.

Welcome!

I'd recommend driving it a bit and determining your plan before buying tires. Last thing you'd want to do is put better stock sized tires on, lift it, and then kick yourself for not going oversized. :D

x2 on what Atrus said. The more KK's I see lifted, the better they are looking to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the '04 I have, but the new ones look even better when lifted and shod the right way. ;)

A nice set of D windows would look good on her. ;)

Thanks, I love your avatar by the way. Where are you from? Colorado?

I live in the Kansas City area but have always loved the Rocky Mountains and have spent a lot of time in Colorado. If it weren't for extended family in Kansas City, I would probably live in Colorado.
