Flat Fender JK Mod

My buddy has a 2010 JK. He brought it to the house this weekend and we hacked away at his stock fenders. We were both blown away by how good we got things to come out. Here are some pics

It was a long long process. I was also wiring up 12 outlets from scratch in my ceiling that is 15' tall at the same time as working on the Jeep. We started at 9am and I did not finish until about 3am the next morning...it was rough. I did however get the Wrangler done and now have twenty-four two bulb T8 fixtures in my garage...its like daylight now!

Nice work. It came out really good. That JK looks really different with the flat fenders on it. A dremel is an awesome tool for cutting stuff like that.

Thanks guys. Working on his Wrangler has really got my itching to start moding the Liberty. I am fortunate enough to have a huge garage on my house (which now has 24 2 bulb T8 fixtures up :big_banana_Dance so doing about anything to the Jeep will be much easier and cleaner then anything I have really worked on before. (99% of my Mustang mods happened in a driveway.) Thinking I may go with a OME lift kit of some sort this week actually.

I'm liking the looks of it, well done.. Which bedliner did you use, and how does it feel? Like is it more rubbery, or is it hard and feel as if it could chip off. I know there is tons of products out there, and the pro sprayed on ones like rhino are pretty tough, but you pay out the A$$ for them....:badger_1:
