Anything to do with limiting digital rights for the end user ends up hurting honest people, and honest people only. It's like gun control. If someone decides to ****** someone or rob a bank they aren't going to worry about the legality of the weapon they own.

So honest people will chafe under a lot of restrictions while the rotten ones do what they want to do anyway. Every time I go to play a Blu Ray movie I wonder if I'm going to have to sit through yet another encryption update. How soon will we be doing the same thing when we start our car just to go to the store?
