I am wondering if there is a modded control arm and steering knuckle. My ball joint failed twice in less than 2 years. I realized that Control arm basically "pull down" ball joint rather than 'sit" on it. I am wondering if there's a mod kit that include steering knuckle and control arm in in a "reverse" position so control arm 'sit" on ball joint in steering knuckle? For safety purpose.
Thankyou!

I would try other joints also. I'm still on original lowers.

Have you tried with moog ball joints?
Yes, I did on first one and it failed year later. Replaced with another brand, so far good. I thought moog was good brand but appeared that quality have changed. I have moog ball joint in my truck control arm. No issue. I suspected that jeep's control arm is pulling down ball joint which is the issue while many older vehicles "sit" on ball joint, when fail, it won't cause damage to anything. My jeep had rim shaved and split just 15 ft after it broke loose and slammed inside rim. (Was driving at 30mph) That pretty scary if I were driving on highway.

I'm not much of a brand follower. If the one you're using is failing, try a different one.

Jeep changed the design in 2008 for the KK Liberty. It's just the way you think it should be. Unfortunately I don't think KK knuckles and control arms fit the KJ.

Shoot! My jeep is 2005 which is KK. I agreed that it won't fit. I can do research and see the difference. Chrysler did poor job on designing steering knuckle. Which mean that I have to check ball joint every quarterly.
Thanks
