So my front driveshaft decided to self-destruct while offroading no big deal. My problem is finding a suitable replacement. I see that they range from $120 upto $600. What's the difference from a driveshaft parts $120 one to a mopar $657? Is there one that's more suited for offroad abuse? Any advice is appreciated

Rebuild. Todd has given the link for the rebuild parts in several threads. With the money you save buy a good snap ring tool and you will still have tons of $$ left for a tank of gas.

The rear boot on the CV lasts about 70,000 miles on the average
so after it goes bad, dirt, grime gets in the CV and wears them out
So in a way it was good it happened at a slower pace then driving home
Rebuild it , one end is only 40 bucks and be done , just keep checking it
Its one those wear items every KJ owner needs to know about

We had a M&G at my place every month
at one i started checking, out of the 19 KJs there 11 had bad rear CVs LOL
