I'm going to be lifting the libby and was debating going full OME or getting OME 927-948 with Rancho RS 5000 shocks/struts.. Anyone running this combo, thoughts? The Rancho look to be a $100 or so cheaper and I only do light offroading on the beach.. Anyone have a bunch of miles on this setup - how's it holding up? Problems?

I know not that many people are running it but I thought I would get some feedback..

Plan on running OME 927-948 front/rear with 0.25" top plate and 1 added rear iso - teraflex bumpstops front and hockey puck rear

Just a question as to the shocks/struts?? And whether or not the Rancho work just fine - i.e., how much better is the full OME set up

Thanks

I am running that exact setup! I just installed it Friday night and have driven about 250 miles (all paved) so far. I like the ride but still have to get aligned correctly. The late night alignment got close but needs to be set right. My only "complaint" so far is the rear set up feels sort of soft or spongy at low speed like backing up and braking or low speed stop and go. Maybe just me or I expected it to be real firm setup. I can't comment more since I haven't been driving it too long that way or off road yet.

I am running the same setup for 10k miles now no issues. It is a little stiff in the front though. I have no complaints. I dont think you could go wrong with either setup IMO; Rancho, OME, and Bilistine all make good products.

OME and the Bilsteins ride almost the same
Ranchos RS 5000 or whatever they are come in second behind the 2 above IMO
