Gearbox failed?

Hello brothers and sisters!!!

I have a Jeep Cherokee Kj 2.8 CRD 2006 Automatic. Yesterday driving home I noticed someting weird… at 80km/h I had 2300-2400 rpm and car not shifting to 4rd gear.
I made some tests put in first, go to second gear and the put in D. Between 1-2-3 shifting ok but 3 is the last gear. Put in R works perfectly… please let me know if someone had this before. Sorry for my bad english but is not my first language.

Check the oil level in the gearbox.
Also check the OD button hasn't been pushed, it stops the gearbox going into top gear.

I had verified oil level and dipstick is overfilled. Is a little but under the hot dot at cold…oil change was made 10k km before…overfill destroy the gearbox?

Update, gearbox change gear around 2200 rpm and a little bit shock...change like a BMW on SPORT+ if you know what I mean.
Tomorrow I will try with a pump to extract oil.
This problem appear after a hit car very bad in snow with PART TIME and full gas for 200m in 50cm snow.

Thumping gear change isn't a good sign, drain the oil into a clean container to see what comes out.
