Does anyone know of a Windows based OBDII software program that will work with an ElmScan 5 reader?

We have a 2007 Diesel Jeep KJ and the ETC light is coming on when started cold. We have bought an ElmScan 5 unit and the included OBDWiz software does not recognise the active DTC.

We have since bought another program, ADVANCED 2012 OBD-II 2 Scanner & Reader Software + ECU Tuning Remapping Engine, that says it supports Jeep codes, but it also fails to recognise the cause of the ETC light.

A cheap bluetooth OBD scanner and a Samsung Galaxy S2 Smartphone, using the Android Torque application gives a readout for No 3 Glow Plug. This sounds correct, as the Glow Plugs were replaced under warranty for the same symptoms and DTC light.
As I own a laptop, not a smartphone, so I bought a USB reader, but now I can’t find a program that can decipher the Jeep DTC’s.

What programs and devices do you know of that can read Jeep DTC’s, especially P0673?

You will need high end scanner like from Snapon or the OEM StarScan tool,expect to pay $4000+ to able to read all codes and systems in your Jeep.For some codes and systems your paying big $$$'s to get permssion to tap into there system and it don't come cheap.
