I’m getting this code. 1267 - glow plug(s) issue on my 2005 Liberty CRD diesel. It starts fine when temperature is above 5 degrees. But it runs normal with no problems. It’s been about a week since the code popped up. Although the weather has gone below zero twice during that time and I had to jump start it. I’m wondering what to do next. Or if I can just deal with the jump starting on the few and far between below zero days and then in the Spring and Summer it will be fine. Wishful thinking I know. Also, the engine light won’t clear. Is fixing this going to be big bucks? Need advice.

The glow plugs aren't particularly expensive, a fresh set should help.

Does anyone know what type of glow plug I would need exactly?
It depends what voltage your glow system is, I think there were 3 different setups, 5v, 7v and 11v.
Unless jeep can tell you what you have you will have to check with a meter or take one of your plugs out and hope it's marked up.
I think all the earlier non VNT Jeeps were 11V, the later ones 5&7v Jeep were doing an upgrade from one to the other to get rid of the ceramic tip plugs but I don't know which ones are the upgrade.
