Got into an accident.... UPDATE 9/2

Got into an accident today with the Liberty. Nobody was hurt in the accident.

Pulling out of a parking lot onto a busy intersection and got hit by a very large Chevy SUV, I think it was a Tahoe. Didn't take any pics of the other vehicle, but it basically took out his whole passenger side doors. Half of my plastic bumper cover was stuck in his door jam.

It ***** that I have to wait until Tuesday for my insurance company to come and look at the damages. Then who knows how long until I get a check and its probably going to be in the body shop for two months. I sure am going to miss my Jeep.

Now I have an good excuse to get a real bumper. I'm trying to decide between both of RL's front bumpers.

that suck man. my wife was in a mild wreck with her 02 last week. didnt do any damage to the bumper but the hood now has about a 1/2" gap around it that shouldnt be there. weird because the plastic bumper doesnt ever have a scratch in it.

Well got a rental today. It's a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser. Got it for one month. Tomorrow the vehicle appraiser comes to look at the Jeep. Any tips from people who went through this process.

All the damages have been fixed! Don't have a bumper cover on it right now b/c I am getting a bumper made for it. Here are the "during" pix!!
