Hi,

I have three questions.

First, I own a 2004 Liberty Jeep without rails or anything on the roof. I'd like to know if there's a way to install some sort of fixtures so that I'd be able to install a cargo.

Next, is there a model of leatherfront cover that would fit on my truck? I don't seem to be able to find any.

Lastly, I'd like to know if a skid plate can be installed with a 5000lbs hitch.

Thank you in advance for any and all help on this!

Welcome!!!

As for the skid, the Mopar OE gas tank one will work fine with the hitch. It mounts to the same place.

#1 you can go to a junkyard and buy the factory side rails and install them on your Liberty (but to go this route you will need to purchase new Nutzerts (or Rivnuts as they are also called) but the holes are already in your roof under the black rubber trim. Then you can buy the Mopar Cross bars from a dealer or if you are lucky you can find a used set. You can also buy an aftermarket rack like the one from www.rocklizard.com

#2 by leather ffront cover I am assuming you mean a front end cover or bra as they are most commonly called. There are a couple of options out there. LeBra makes one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lebr..._Accessories&hash=item2a063da1cb#ht_598wt_939. Covercraft makes one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fron..._Accessories&hash=item53db670c4d#ht_763wt_939 There is also the factory Mopar one: (part #82206798 w/ no front plate or part # 82206009 with front plate) I personally like the Mopar one the best and have a couple of them:

You must be registered for see images

a side note about this pic is the bra does not come with the large T-shaped cover on the hood, that is an extra part the bra comes with the hood cover that is on the white Liberty.

#3 HJ already answered yes you can use the hitch and gas tank skid plate

You can also hard mount a set of 400 series foot kit from Thule.
Just drill some holes through the base of the rack mount and use some quality
fasteners.
I have purchased used Thule 400 series roof racks with accessories for as little
as $25.00 complete.
Add another $10.00 to $15.00 in hardware and you have a roof rack that will
easily hold a couple of hundred pounds of crap up top!
Do a search here for pictures of our setup for an idea.
