Just wanted to throw this out there....

I now have a little over 25k on my AT2's. Still great tread. I've rotated them (5 wheel rotation) every 5k miles.

Overall, still happy. One negative is that they have gotten NOISY. At 35 mph and 75 mph they are annoying. I am sure not as bad as most MT's, but definitely noisy. And it seems to get worse as time goes on. I had to have them rebalanced once a couple thousand ago as they developed a slight shimmy.

I'm also going to admit - I threw on the Rusty's 3/4" spacer like 32k miles ago and never got it aligned. Tire wear seems just fine. That could contribute to the noise slightly. The reason I bring this up is that they are wearing well despite this neglect on my part.

Considering life's been getting in the way and I have only had them off-road once since purchase (hopefully #2 next month), I think next set will be something more like an Open Country.

Atrus, that is still pretty good. A buddy of mine put them on his WJ and likes them also. I think they are a good tire from what I have heard, but I havn't personally used them. I like the tread pattern on them, though.

I like them that they seem to have great treadwear, perform good in snow, and are priced reasonably.

Like I said, I am going off the pavement less than I thought I would. Since I commute 55 miles a day to downtown Detroit, I am thinking the next set of shoes will be geared a little more to road use.

That's understandable.....sounds like the Destination AT would be good for that....:)

I've had a set for 3000 miles, and I am very pleased with them so far. Grip in dry or wet (I live in England, so I'm familiar with wet:D) is very good and the little bit of offroad (wet forest track) that I've done was also good.

I too had considered the Grabber ATs, but went with TOYO Open Country ATs. I would definately recommend the TOYOs as a good pavement tire, but they have also performed well in the rain / and mud, on /off road as well.

With about 20K on them, I have no complaints, other than I don't get off-road with them enough. They were even much quieter than the stock Goodyear HTs that came on the Jeep. It seemed like the more the Goodyears wore down, the more they howled.

I have 13k miles on my Grabber AT2s and the wear is great as well. My brother is getting new tires on his Pathfinder and has been keeping track of mine as a test before he commits to them. We both remain impressed so far. The noise has seemed to increase a bit lately, I thought it might just be me, but I really don't mind and neither do my kids. I hums them to sleep :). As far as driving conditions, we see everything from deep snow 12"+ to icy (as good as any aggressive non ice-designed AT) and slushy roads, mud, rain, I have had them offroad in muddy wet grass and dirt/gravel roads and they do very well in all those conditions and for the type of trails I do. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an aggressive AT tire.

Just wanted to update so I don't scare anyone off.

30k miles on my Grabbers. I was SURE it was tire noise...well, it wasn't!!!! I think it's bad wheel hubs.

So, I bought new tires and kept the Grabbers. They will go back on once the new shoes wear out.

I liked the Grabbers and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

I think he got Toyo Open Country AT's...

Yup, 235/75 Open Countries. Can't comment on them since I have driven literally 2 miles on them with my shot wheel hubs making a helluva racket. They still have sticker goo on the tread ;-) I'll start a new thread with pics once I can review them.

I don't think I ever did get pics of my KJ with the Grabbers. No biggie, there are plenty of them floating around.
