Hi everybody,

Been a Liberty owner for almost 2 years. Just pulled the trigger on a 2.5"puck lift and some upper control arms.

What I am planning to do is build a rack for a Honda trx 350 to fit in the trailer hitch receiver.

Quad weighs about 500 lbs so I want to put some stiffer coils in the back.

Appreciate any insights, thanks.

I put in the load-assist (coilover) style rear shocks to firm things up. Believe they were Durango application.

Putting 500lbs on the hitch is going to make the front end feel super light.

With that, I would recommend using air lift air bags as opposed to different coil springs.

Sounds like way more weight than the tow hitch should have, a trailer would be safer and more legal option, especially with worn old springs and a spacer lift.

Strongly agree with KJowner there...
there are two types of hitches as well, take note if you have 4 bolt or 6 bolts to the frame.
if only 4 bolts I would hesitate to put a dirt bike on the hitch...

A quad... trailer only for a little Jeep...

Also keep in mind that useing a spacer lift you will need to add bumpstop hight (hockey pucks) as well to keep the springs from becomming fully compressed and binding up.
