Trying to find heavy duty springs for my liberty, Who sales them? I have a 2.5 lift on the front but my winch is making my front springs sag. If I put the heavy duty springs on plus the 2.5" spacers will it give me close to a 3" lift in the front. Thanks for the help!

Can't use the Daystar poly puck with the OME HD springs.....too much for the CV's for one thing, destroy the shocks for another.

Those spacers were meant to use with stock springs.

Call Dirk up from DPG Off-Road (316)776-9900 and tell him you want the OME HD coils for the KJ for the front. No need for a spacer on the front the coils will support the winch and still give you lift.

Thanks for the advice. What I really want is a 3" front and 3" rear lift that can handle the winch's weight in the front. The rear is easy Im just going for the springs. The front I was thinkinking since my front sagged about a quarter of an inch that I would do a clevis lift that would give me about 3/4" lift and 3" springs in the back. I hate to take the daystar off the front, it rides so much smoother since I added it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You probably wont get 3" of lift with just the OME HD springs if you have a winch. May need to do a clevis lift, just watch that upper A-arms if they are stock. Dont let them hit the springs at full droop.

Having that spacer lift up front will only continue to sag badly and rather rapidly once it begins.Do yourself a favor and fork over the $$$ for OME HD coils for the front or get the front only Frankinlift. The OEM front coils are not rated for a steel bumper and winch, the OME HD coils are.

All I have is the winch up front. I had a custom front bumper hitch made for it. what about medium springs and spacers. Im just trying to figure a way to get it done right so I dont have to spend a lot of money testing ways. If the HD springs will get the job done I will try that, I just need it to look right if I put 3" springs in the back. Thanks for the suggestions

No, you cannot use those spacers with an OME med spring. Your suspension would be 100% maxed out. Its possible you could use a .75in spacer and a daystar upper plate but then you would have the franken lift, which isnt a bad thing. Just gotta take care of the upper a arm hitting the spring at full droop.

All OME springs are the same price, just go like hundreds have before and get the OME H.Ds I have an ARB front bumper and OME HDs ( over 98000 lifted miles) and still have what people call a 3 inch plus lift. Must be since I am within and inch of what JBA sells for a 4 inch:)

OME springs, clevis lift and can always do a 3/8 thick top plate if needed

That's what she said!

In all seriousness...spend the money now on good stuff, or spend it later on good stuff after buying cheap stuff.

All the same to us, ain't our ride home:)

OK, I was reading this thread after having my ARB put on.. I want a winch next but am worried about sagging... SO, If I remove the daystar crap I have up front then I should go with OME HD springs.. That will keep the height that I am at now with out the sagging that may be caused by the ARB bumper and Warn winch?

I don't want to throw good money after bad AGAIN!

CRD HD springs. In all honesty, ThunderbirdJunkie feels those were just right with a KJ with nothing hanging off the front.. he'd like to see some heavier spring options for the KJ.

answered your other thread ... but IMO I would consider it the opposite, a beneficial almost necessary use of your money!
Your already over taxed springs (spacer lift) are now even more stressed by your (awesome) ARB. Now you want to add more weight :)

Dial up Marlin and get you some HD springs ... :D

Ya just missed out , I had the whole setup you need for under 500 bucks,
But now go buy some OME 790 springs, new shocks etc for the front . They are rated at 500 lb versus the stock at 310 lb
I ran the 790s on the front of mine for the last 60,000 miles with no issues at all and no sagging rear 948s and whatever bilstein or MOE 132L shocks
